Walter Bollendonk

Walter Bollendonk (1897 - 1977) was active/lived in Massachusetts.  Walter Bollendonk is known for Marine, landscape, still life.

Born in New York City, he studied at the Parsons School and National Academy. He painted a variety of subject matter but became most known for his stormy ocean images. He never tired of studying the tides and wind or the anatomy of a wave. He worked for many years on the art staff of Hearst Publications in New York City.
